Sever battery drain
Ok so i just bought a yellow top Optima Battery and put it in my RX7. With in 1 day the battery was completely drained. I thought the battery was bad and has it replaced 3 times. The battery i have now was completely dead i took it to advanced they charged it battery came back good. I put it in and with in 12 hours or so its dead again. What can be draining my battery this much??

Also i turn the key to the ACC possition and the rpms jump up to 2700. When i push on the sun roof the rpms go down. None of this is done while the car is on. The battery charger reads a full charge, used two diff ones to make sure it was actually charged.

if you have the n318/ n326 car, yet fit the N350/ n370 series of alts
you need to change the wiring at the back slightly, else it will trickle drain the battery full time
( and getting them **** about other way makes for overcharging )
the s5 type ( n350 / n370 ) has the 'S' terminal hooked to battery like the B+
the s4 type ( n318,n32,n332 etc ) has 'R' terminal instead, and its hooked to key switched ignition
PS
do your research on battery types
deep cycle spiral cell AGM , conventional AGM , wet cell and gel cell types all have different characteristics
- some prone to overnight discharges with trickle load !!!!
yellow top optima may not be a good choice for what you have
red top may be better, or simply go back to sealed wet lead for daily usage
