setting idle via BAC (turboII)

i dont have a screw to adjust my idle via BAC... i car has a little miss at idle (some of you downloaded the video) and i think if i adjust the BAC and get the TPS set right, it will idle fine...
do i need to get a new BAC since mine doesnt have a screw in it? also, are the turboII and NA BAC's the same part?

Turbo bac have a screw. Non turbo don't. You should have had one. Sounds like someone switched one on you.

Fully warm up the car. Pull the bac plug off. Any difference??

Or......just install the initial set coupler. Any difference?

American or Jap engine?

It means the bac is working and trying to keep the idle around 750. I think you need to find a bac with the screw. That is the only idle adjustment on a turboii....unless you had a 87-88 then you could use their variable resistor to help out.

Seems the throttle stop screw is your best bet. Small screw with a 8mm wrench size jamnut on it. Ont the aft side of the throttle body.

I can't think of anything else since it's a series five. Except maybe a SAFC (more money in the money pit).

Maybe the timing is a bit too far advanced???

Yes, Damn Japs. Remember Nanking, Bataan, Manila, comfort girls from Korea and list goes on and on.http://www.cnd.org/njmassacre/recent-news2.html

Hey Skunk,
As you know since you're in Hawaii, that sort of remark will get you beat up and thrown over the bridge.
I cringe everytime I hear the word "Jap". I know people don't mean it as a deragatory remark but it is.
