service bag over ECU

service bag over ECU

i finally got around to pulling up my carpet to check some wiring at the ECU.
I was pretty surprised to find this:

Follow the wires...it looks like an AFM-style plug..which is..odd...

So far, i've come to the conclusion that that "blue thing" is from an auto S5 vert. I had 2 auto S5 verts and both had these wires. Big blue clips, and blue wire loom. The wires also ran above the passenger side wheel well cover.

well it just happens to be an s5 auto vert
i don't plan on keeping it that way, though...
