Series4 IC compared to Series5
Does anyone know if the series 5 top mount intercooler is a better unit than the series 4?
Is the air intake any different in size for the two models?

Yes, the S5 intercooler is a bit better than the S4 one. The connections are the same size but the internals tubes actually have greater internal cross-sectional area, so there is less pressure drop across the core. I've seen a test where the S5 intercooler flowed ~5% more than the S4 one, so there's not much in it really.

Same ****... different pile.
Nah, I'm just joking, they are decent intercoolers.
The difference between the two is to small to make a noticeable difference (ooooh! 1hp)

Has this bigger internal tubes thing really been confirmed???
The Kouki IC has a 2" inlet, while the Zenki IC has a 1.75" inlet.  This could be the 5% flow efficiency gain...

You can easily confirm it yourself. Get one of each and look in the outlet, it's quite easy to see. Maybe someone can post nice clear close-up shots looking into the outlet so we can see the tubes. I'm sure we can get one photo of each.
