series of questions. narrow band and boost pressure sensor
ok i am in the process of finishing my rx7 and right now its open turbo. it sorta runs like crap. would the narrow band not being installed make it run like crap?
and
the car is a 1987 se with a turbo 2 swap and rtek 1.7. it has a n/a wiring harness. what is the wire to the boost sensor that back feeds to the ecu.

by that vague description it could be anything. Things to try:
1) pressure test for boost/vacuum leaks (search)
2) check and adjust TPS
3) set timing correctly using a timing light. make sure your crank pulley and pulley hub are from the same engine or the marks will be wrong
4) set idle speed using either BAC valve (if installed) or by adjusting the throttle stop screw (search)
5) make sure all factory grounds are clean and consider adding a ground down by the ECU
the search feature on here, the FSM, and the Haynes manual have information on this stuff
