series 4 body side line things?

yeh well i searched through all of the faq's i could find on fc's including the ones on this site. but i cant find the answer to this one question.

well after reading all the faqs about series 4 n 5 fc's i realised that all the sereis 4 fc's have those black stripe things around the car where as the serie 5 dont. but all the faqs are based on the UK models like GTU gxls etc..

on a australian japanese import site there was a 1988 rx7 GTR without the black lines? wats the deal yo?

japanese serise 4 gtr dont have black lines?

They might of just painted the black mouldings or either converted to the s5 mouldings and painted them to match the car.
