selling the car what is it worth?
The 7 is going to be sold/parted out. I was posting this to see who would pat what for what.
the body needs some major work, as does the interior(it looks good in pics and in certain light.)
The motor has an unknown problem(possible o ring failure)
it starts and idles, but smokes, backfires and is lacking power

With all those parts, I'd suggest to sell it for $5000 with the bad engine. I know that's alot less then what's invested in the car but you know that's not how things work out really.
By the way, if you're selling parts...I'd like to perhaps buy some!

i cant believe youre selling that car it looks beautiful i would like to buy that car as a whole. what is wrong with it. it looks great in all the pictures. please contact me so i can speak with you about it ive been looking for a 89-91 turbo 2 for my new car. the only problem is that i am relocating to pensylvania.

Dude park the car and walk away from it. You have to much money invested in it. When your ready then fix it. You need a break if your considering selling it. You and the dude have the nicest TII around well mine is pretty nice but without all that performance work. Anyway don't sell it. Buy a junker and drive it until you have the patience to make it right. You have all the right toys...you just need a little patience.

He has parked the car and walked away from it many, many times in the last 7 years. If he has to put another motor in in this time(it only ran for a month since the last one was put in), this will be the 7th motor.
He has tried to do everything right and it still doesn't work. He has tried to take it to the best rotary people and the motors still won't last.
I don't want to even think about how much money we have dumped into this car. It would have done more good if we had just thrown all that money in the fireplace.
He has had plenty of breaks from the 7. He has had to drive our Audi or my Z so much b/c his car never runs.
He has tried so hard with this car. He has poured so much more than time and money into it. He has had more patience with this car than anyone else I know ever could have had.
It has come to a point where he has realized that with all of his time, money, and effort that he has poured into this car, it will never reward him as a strong, reliable car.
It was a hard decision, but it is time to give up and move on.

$5000?
$5k seems low to me. I am sitting here thinking about a few parts right off the top of my head that would add up to close to $5k....

The Volks do not have AVS Sports on the rear anymore, They are 235/45 goodyear Eagle F1 emt(run flat, without the pressure sensors).
The rear brakes are brand new still in the box.(ive got brand new front and rear pads and rear rotors)
SoulAssassin- ill sell the whole brake set up for-450$(since the only thing used are the front rotors and lines)
The wheels are not perfect, few dings and such(nothing major)
ill take the first 1300$ with tires.
1600cc injectors-100$ each(only have about 8000-10000 miles on them)
The Greddy power extreme-550$
coil overs(rears are not perfect, springs rubbed the perches when the springs were mis aligned. does not affect performance of units)0- 600$ with an extra set of springs(have 8" and 10" for the rear)
CF rear bar-130$
Tail lights(used)-250$
JDM FTP-125$
MSD 6a-75$(as it sits)
Other parts requested have not had prices set. you can make offers or wait till i decide on a price
