CA Seems like my engine is choking - help

Tried searching the forums but I can’t seem phrase the question right. I am having problems with my 1990 FCS5 manual Vert w/ 130k . After running for a while when start off in 1st gear from an idle stop my RPM’s will drop below 1000 and lights will dim like it is going to stall, (imagine choking out, no gas smell though). It will bounce back up and go then. No problems with any other gear or when shifting in higher RPMs. Engine is stock, I have RB headers. Replaced the TPS sensor about 4 years ago thanks in advance for the help.

BAC? How is the IDLE?

Try this----Let the car warm up. Then turn the lights, radio, and air on all at once. What does the idle do?

it will usually rest at between 900-1200 rpm when warm. Also the battery is newer and I get no Alternator light

Try adjusting the idle. Idle on that car should be 750. There may also be a vac leak which is common on 20 year old cars.

So check the vac lines and replace if needed. Vac line is really cheap and you cut to fit.

Check the timing also (SET)
