Seems like everyone is picking up new FC's . . .

Picked up a friend for the targa Rx-7, i needed a better platform to start the turbo project on . . .
1991 N/A
Atkins Rebuild w 3mm apex seals (10k)
TII pump and injectors already in.
Stripped AC/PS/Airpump, so right now i have no VDI or Aux ports but that wont matter when i put on the ported TII manifolds.
Car needs body attention but i needed a project i could get deep into without having to worry about it being down for long periods of time. Gutted the interior today, fun fun fun.

BTW it needs a name . . . Since Hot Karl is taken . . . i guess my choices are . . .
Dirty Sanchez
Cleveland Steamer
Angry Dragon
Blumpkin
Donkey Punch
i dunno maybe "Project Financial Disaster" or "Project SR-71" since its going to be my stealth car. Dunno . . .
"Project Weapon of mASS Destruction"

Is the targa already swapped or did you stop that project to start on a new vehicle?

running would be an under statement, and it did have a full interior until i pulled all of it out to clean everything, i think i'm going to be removing the mouse belts completely in favor of 4 point or regular manual belts

Get rid of those fog lights, stat!

Good luck, can't wait to see what happens with this, looks like you've got a good base to go off of.

this project is going to be fun, that all i'm going to say, most people try to get a FC with a good body and care less about whats under the hood b/c they can fix that easy, mines the opposite, evil engine, terrible body haha, tons of little door dings and one giant boo boo on the drivers rear quarter. its going to be fun though, that engine should take nicely to the turbo i have and i think its going to get a haltech, we'll see, the EMS isnt set in stone yet but heres what i will be setting it up with
Tokico HP struts
RB springs/sway bars
may re-install PS dunno yet
powder coat (black) the Enkei CD-9's that came with the car
new coat of black paint
the GTU spoiler is not going back on
SMP carbon fiber tii lip
netami seats
4 point harnesses, kill the mouse track belts
we'll see
