Lock the doors, step out, close the door while holding up on the handle so it stays locked. Then, bash a window in, climb in and kick the door open without unlocking it. The alarm might go off.

the alarm is pretty terrible

close hatch, lock one door, then then lock the other (you should hear a beep) get out, and close the door while holding the handle open

the alarm will not be armed if you lock the door with the key

when the door closes the "security" light should go from flashing to on, if not, try again

turning the ignition to "on" disables the alarm (if it goes off), but that also means you cant set the alarm while the car is on or anything like that

read your manual for better instructions

its the alarm security system. arm it and lock yourself in the car. then open it. the alarm should go off. unarm it by unlocking the door.

alarm wont arm if anything is opened. this includes the hood, trunk/hatch, door, i think the sunroof, and the window being more then half way down.

my alarm works when it wants to. i think its a ground problem on the ECU. sometimes ill arm itself while im driving. yeah.. theyre that intelligent

That would be wrong. It is one of the best systems available as an OEM system, It will even detect the door being slimjimmed open before the door is opened. Something that almost no state of the art aftermarket alarms even do

that would be wrong also. When armed the alarm light flashes once every 3 seconds. If there is a sensor active, the light is on solid, and it flashes fast in the arming (but not armed yet) mode.

Hmm again, wrong. The only thing to disarm the alarm while it is going off is the Key in the door turned to the off position.

read your manual for better instructions
, ah now that is good advice. I suggest you follow your own advice there.
