Hey all, need some help or advice on my 86 GXL. At least one of my secondary injectors is sticking open. The shaft of the injector that runs horizontally into the runner from the outside pushes in and out. A friend of mine said it may be the locknut insude the injector wearing out. But anyway, the little clip on the end of that shaft slips past the stopper and I guess that is how it is staying stuck open. Any advice on what I can do to fix this? Does it sound like I should just replace them? Is it hard to replace the secondary injectors?


Also, since these injectors have been stuck open, would this improve my mpg at all, at the moment I am getting around 10-11mpg.
