I believe it was the high-end GXL equivalent (except turbo, as all FCs in japan were) of the S4s there.

Yes GXL equivelant. Do a conversion or part it out. Too bad no cruise control or I would take the cruise switch.

It's funny how if you spoon-feed people the info they want, they think you're awesome. But if you tell them how to find it for themselves they get all shitty or childish. Sad...

why would they call it a gtx? why nor turbo II ?
You could say why didn't they call TII's something else. It all depends on the market. A lot of research goes into picking model names and congiurations that will sell best in each market.

I assume you mean you didn't get auto turbos. Based on the FC's I've seen over here (all Jap-imports), about a third of the FC's sold in Japan were auto. Again, it comes down to what the market demands.

BTW, searching the 2nd Gen forum for "GTX" gets you 451 hits.

it is because you "know it alls",jump down everybodys *** when we ask a question.
THIS IS AN AUTOMOTIVE RESOURCE SITE NOT A COOL KIDS CLUB.

WE WOULD RATHER HAVE NO REPLY THAN A ******* SMART *** REPLY, AND MOST OF THE TIME I SEE THAT THE ANSWERS ARE SHORTER THAT TELLING PEOPLE TO SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH. YOU DO A SEARCH AND IT COMES UP WITH LIKE 20 PAGES.

THATS WHY PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS, IF YOU DONT WANNA ANSWER IT, THEN DONT.

+1 Search can be useful for some things but when you do a search (because the search options are innadequate) you come up with 2600 matching threads because you searched "bronze tinted glass" and you find most of them are not about 10th AE stock glass. but some guys dads medal (BRONZE star) from vietnam and how some other guy TINTED his windows last week and another guy dropped a GLASS of milk yesterday.

Moral of the story is DO NOT USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION HERE! use GOOGLE and look only at this sites matches.

maybe GT-X = GXL
and GT-R = GTU
GT = base (if there was a GT)
(with the exception of the turbo itself)
and that note. i go to japan on friday
