second gear seems really long...why?

i did the auto to manual swap and the car doesnt seems to want to accelerate fast. Nothing major you can drive it no problem but i feel like its robbing me power.
Also if i rev it to three or so and let off the clutch quickly it spins tires a lil then seems to pause before going.

Did you swap the rear diff. out as well?

The auto came with a 3.90 and the manuals came with 4.10 mostly (4.30 as well, but no need to get picky).

If I am not mistaken, that will cause you to loose some take-off but will give you slightly better gas mileage.

your right audiofight... the gears of autos are 3.9 and that would cause you to have less acceleration... least you get better mileage lol but **** take them out... im wanting 4.3 (what gtu's have) instead of my 4.10's... just get a axle off of another manual tranny n/a and youll get that power back
