SEATS ..other than original
I wasn't saying I -have- RX-8 seats in my car, just that I would LIKE to have RX-8 seats in my car, because they are comfortable and hold you well.
And what else could be cooler than a rotor in the headrest?

heres one of my seats.....took a little while to get them in correctly...but damn are they comfy! got them for $650 including the 4 point harnesses, and shipping! so, not a bad deal...and they have withstood 2 1/2 years of abuse with no problem! ive seen those really cheap apc seats break after like 2 months...(mainly the plastic that the seatbelts come out of on the center of the seat)......

Now if RX8 seats will fit in my FB and FC seats will fit in the FB than that means that they sould fit. The only difference is the mounting hole on the rail closest to the doors. THey are 1/2 inch to far forward on the fb. But thta means the same thing for the fc because fc seats bolt up to fb chassis.

Ever wonder why you'll never see a pick of aftermarket seats from the front of the car, looking through the windshield? It's because when you alter the passenger seat it has to sit a couple inches higher than the driver side. Looks dumb and would **** me off. Thats just my opinion. I just put some JDM seats from a 91 in my 90 gxl and work great. You wont find my pattern in many US cars. The only thing to be aware of... the seats dont slide back as far as the old leathers because they were designed for a japanese person. The map pocket is also behind the drivers seat instead of the passenger seat because j-specs are rhd. Just some nifty tidbits. JDM seats sure do look cool as hell. I'll post a pic soon.
My TII's leather seats are getting pretty haggard, but I have a pair of *mint* cloth, base N/A seats... Anyways, last night I pulled 'em out of my N/A and decided to take them apart. My goal was/is to remove the slightly faded grey seat covers on them and dye them black for my TII. Although my TII seats are MUCH more supportive and purpose built, they're pretty much irrepairable without getting new covers (they're leather).
So I got the covers off on the pass. side N/A seat. It was kind of a pain, because you have to rip out a bunch of wire clips holding the cloth to the foam padding and brackets etc. After some struggles, I got the covers off and laid them on the ground.
I had some black fabric DYE that I bought a while ago (for a failed carpet attempt). I poured two 8oz. bottles of this PURE, black liquid into a jar and began PAINTING it onto the surface of the seat covers. I used all of the liquid on the surface and it's been 'drying' for several hours now.
They look good... Really good.
The bottle says not to let the black dye concentrate touch the fabric directly, but I broke that rule. I'm really crossing my fingers on this, but I honestly think it's going to work.
The fabric was a faded grey (almost blue) on the side bolsters with a light grey, speckled middle section. Now everything is perfectly black and EVEN.
The next step is to get some more dye, use the HOT water from the washing machine, and run a hose (of the hot water) out to a mini swimming pool. I'll then "dye" the already black seat covers in HOT dye, let them dry for a couple days and then rinse and clean them in hot water.
I'll post pics when I'm done, but I'm pretty excited.

I have blue leather? 86 gxl seats in my vert, they are more comfortable than the vert and turbo seats plus they have the tilt which I like alot.
And those ebay seats seem worth the money, but I've never actually owned them.

Here's some pics of the seats and the car they were in.

(man, I liked that N/A POWAH!!!...)
BTW, that's not a "jizz" stain on the driver's seat, it's some change that fell out of my pocket.

I've had a chance to sit in the Buddy Club racing buckets and that's what will be in my TII. I don't mind the fact that they are fixed buckets because that the TII is a track/weekend car only.

they're universal seats. they just did the ebay thing and made 400 auctions with diff car names in each title.
Trust me (Coming from an owner of a GSL-SE) Swapping the GSL-SE seats into your FC is a DOWNGRADE! Damn those FC seats are comfy! My sisters TII feels like it hugs me.
I was planning on Swapping FD seats into my FB. Are they comfortable?
