Seat Rail Question

Can the passenger seat rails work on the drivers side? I ask because I just put a Bride in my car, but I need to have so work done to it (its a really tight fit and I didn't want the mechanics having trouble with it) So instead of taking it all apart again can I just swap in the passenger seat temporarily? I figured I'd ask before I took the seat out to find that it didn't work.

The passenger seat actually mounts one of the rails at an angle, and the the bottom of the seat is molded to fit. It's quite annoying when trying to fit aftermarket seats into the car.

Here's a little seat rail info:

The trans tunnel has to bulge out on that side to allow the exhaust system to fit underneath.
