I was trying to install my new seats this evening and discovered that my floor mounting bolts are missing except for the front two. I cant believe ive never noticed , as my seat never rocked or moved. Well to say the least one of the front bolts is striped, and would not go back in, so now i only have one bolt holding the seat on. Can i just go to say, ace hardware or the like, and get similar bolts? The problem im facing is there is no tread on the hole for the bolt, so by buying another will it re thread it?

your going to have to tap the hole. and maybe go up a size or 2 to get it to thread. i had a similar problem ,, although i just needed to tap the hole. clean up the threads. and buy 2 new bolts. once i cleaned up the holes , i was able to bolt the seat down no problem .
