seat belt retractor problem

seat belt retractor problem

hey guys-i'm having problems with my seat belt.it sporaticaly will not "feed out" any slack at all...no amount of coaxing,door opening/closing,banging etc will convince it to pay out any belt.not a good thing since they are cracking down on seat belt laws here.anybody with any fix it ideas?thanks

just take off the panel that covers the seatbelt off and find where it is catching.

just take your car to a mazda dealer and have them replaced for free. there is a recall for that.

i thought the recall was on the s5 cars only-is there one on the s4's?

No, the verts don't have the lame mouse belts that the US spec S5 cars got.

No. Just S5s with the "mouse-type' cable operated passive seat belts.
