Unhappy searched...lots of ideas, but no solutions

I have read all the threads about this, many people have posted what they think
to be the problem but nobody has posted what actually fixed it.

The problem is, my car starts, revs to about 1000, and dies unless you give it gas and hold it above 3000. People have suggested; throttle position sensor, crank angle sensor, intake leak after MAF, clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pump, vac leak, afm etc.

My car has 111,000 miles, its and 88' Turbo II with rats nest gone, emmissions gone, a/c gone and some other stuff. I have replaced the fuel filter, checked the intake, and replaced some of the vac lines in the rats nest. It didn't do this before i put these vac lines in, and when it died on me, i took them off and it still did it. Im a noob and i don't know what to do next. If anyone has posted this problem and was able to fix it, or if anybody else could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Did you actually check all that stuff? Also check your compression.

WE TOLD YOU WHAT THE FIX WOULD PROBABLY BE! If you don't want to put in the time and effort into learning what to do, even AFTER getting a lot of online help, then you need to sell your car right now. And then look into those wonderful things called bicycles.

The problem with ANY vehicle is a problem is rarely always caused by one thing. Especially with a car that's as old as ours.

The solutions proposed to you have fixed people's problems in the past, but it was usually not the first place they looked that fixed everything. It takes time and patience and learning how to take care of these cars.

If you don't have the time then you'll probably leave the Rx7 world telling everyone what a pile of junk they are, when you didn't let into the idea that they aging cars and will not perform like brand new by this point.
