I know there's a ton of threads on clunking in the rear, but none of them seem to specify whether the clunking is constant or just happened when pressing or releasing the gas.

I have a clunking noise coming from the rear of my car. I'm not sure is it's side specific, but it speeds up and slows down with the car. There is also a slight wobble.

I had a loose rim issue before, but after I tightened the bolts, the clunk went away. Soon after that, I removed my rims and painted them, but after I put them back on, there was a slight clunking. All the rims are on tight but i still can't figure out whats clunking.

Maybe someone should create a universal clunking thread that covers multiple clunking problems.

did you check your diff mounts for cracks b/c they can also cause "clunking"
