Searched for 30+ minutes, no answer...What wheels are these?

Just picked these up on my lunchbreak. 2 piece 16" OZ racing wheels supposedly for rx7. Haven't had time to really look at the wheel seeing I am @ work, but I cannot find anything like this on the board. All other t2 mesh and such are one piece and look different. If you have a link please post it, thanks and sorry for a stupid post, but I am stumped...

do you have a picture or something? they aren't stock so i dont know why you would think they are made specifically for an rx7?

Just reread this and noticed I did not answer your second question...the PO told me they were for an rx7 and also just because the wheel is not made by the manufacturer/ manufacturer's primary wheel company (I.e. honda-enkei), does not mean it is not intended solely for that vehicle. Take for instance 949 with miatas/ the one wheel that rb wheel company specifically designed for the old Z's.

those wheels never came stock on an FC if that's what you are asking. they look similar to the BBS vert wheels so the PO might have been confused.

No I never asked that, nor did I ask anything in my last post; but I completely agree that they have similarities to the vert meshies... Since the first post I hve only asked what model OZ's these are.

I dont know about the exact model of wheel but those are usually refered to as the 2-piece MSW Meshs.

Thanks for the info, but I don't think that's it... the MSW mesh look a lot like BBS Mehla IIRC. These seem to resemble BBS style 5's from BMW's...here are the one's I refinished on for my e34. Just a bit more angled in the spokes.

Almost Identical IMO...damn OZ & it's almost copyright infringement.

So true, but there is an O.Z. Racing embossed in the face. There is marking stating "Made in Italy" on the back along with 01mz3. Cleaned them up at the car wash...looking better.

Doesn't state offset anywhere on it. I would guess 16x7 +25 or so...and yes he said they were pulled off a t2.

Agreed, RS and style 5's are very similar, except RS's are much more sexy.

Good lord man, what'd you do, hop in a time machine and go back in time to get those? I've just searched 60% of OZ wheels made in the last 8-ish years and don't see those ones...

LOL, with new tires for a cheap price I couldn't say no. BTW old wheels are awesome, I have redone many wheels that are 15+ years old.

You cleaned those up real nice. I'm not too fond of mesh wheels but after you cleaned em up they look pretty sweet.

Thanks, but that was just 4 minutes in a power washer at the local car wash. I don't think I will pull the faces because you need a special 10pt tool unlike BBS that uses 10mm 12 pt.
