MB Seafoam the motor

Would someone please post a pic of the appropriate vacuum hose in which to pour seafoam and clean out the motor? I watched the ads and got help from a poster here, like use water too, but I don't know much about the S4, as I had Ist gens and just dumped ATF and Varsol into the carb.
Help appreciated.
Mike

Just dump it in the tank and go for a drive. The only advantage to going the vacuum line route is the big show caused by the clouds of smoke and the flashing lights from the fire trucks that are bound to show up.

There's no need to do any of this. Just drive the car.

Is there a specific problem you are trying to solve?

Because one thing to consider when just trying to "clean out the engine" is that you might dislodge chunks of carbon which will do far more damage...

I agree with this 100%, you want to clean things out a little do a ATF or MMO treatment.
I have had these cars for about 20 years and never came across a situation where I needed to do this.

Well, I guess I got sucked in by the commercials. Having bought a can, I might as well put half on my 88 vert gas tank and the rest in my boat fuel tank. I used to load up the motors in fall in my 4 1st gens RX7s, with 50/50 Varsol/ATF before storage for winter, it made sense to me.

Varsol and ATF before winter storage? That's frightening. Fogging oil is made for a reason.
