screwed up 1/4 times

I just came back from the strip today and I suck

first time doing this and here is what I ran

R/T 1.071
60' 2.664
330 7.413
1/8 11.155
mph 62.98
1000 14.427
1/4 17.097
mph 85.27

had a few problems though... I think I have a wire that needs some splicing on my AFM. everynow and then when driving it just starts to stutter around and get wierd but when I wiggle the wire around that goes to it it works fine and so it was bucking a little in first and half of second... then I also missed my shift from 2 to 3

I know the run sucked and I am going to get as much time as I can in so I can try to hit 15's

the launch was at about 5500 or so on street tires.

any ideas on how to get my times down?
mods are in the sig

dont feel bad I really suck. My first time I really messed up. I have a pretty modded TII that broke on the way there. I lost my S-AFC, and I only got to run 2 times. I got a 15. I couldn't even tune my damn car. I need practice!!!! I should have done low 14's to high 13's. Its alot harder than you thought huh. good luck next time.

Oh yeah to make you feel better. The first round, I roll over the line and get a red light.

me too

I have a TII and haven't been able to utilize the true potential of the car. It is moderatly modded and I should be running mid-14's and I'm running in the fifteens, first 1/8 mile sucking bad.

I am only pulling 17.0's at 84 also Only I am testing mine with the g tech I hope to make it to the strip soon. I have been lightening my car up a lot I have stripped out a/c accesories, rear seat, air pump, acv, ditched the spare. That has helped, the lighter the better in the 1/4. If any one knows of anything else I can strip off of the car please speak up. I need to keep the p/s for auto x though. I know I am a wimp. Well I hope you can bring your time down hopefully I will be right with you.
