Hello,
ever since i converted to an open air filter i get a screeching noise at about 6000rpm.
The airpump also got a small filter on it and was thinking if its just going crazy due to the rpms but i cant tell for sure.
Perhaps someone knows the sound or problem ive ran into.

 

I once had a similar problem. It turned out to be both the fan clutch and PS pump idler pully bearing. Your problem is most likely related to a belt driven accessory. You need to remove the accessory belts one at a time to pinpoint the source of the problem.
