well.. i live in alberta, and its just hovering above 0 degrees C. right now. I went to start up my car today and there was a loud scratch ... at least it sounded like that to me, and then i tried to start it up again and it was fine .. ?!?! anyone know what this might be? and is it bad?? thx

 

Sticky starter? Frozen belts? Starter gear grinding?

 

Sounds like the starter to me.
