Question scrap it or rebuild it

i over heated my 87 n/a and now it has no compression and will not start ofcourse anyways is there any point in rebuilding it or just get a nouther motor ??

NA parts are pretty easy to come by, just pull her apart, and see what parts are still useable. It would save you some money, and youll gain experience

u cant really ask us to give u a answer for that. its all on you. if ur lazy, get a new motor. if u wanna know more about a rotary engine, rebuild it. however, let me tell u this, ur gonna have to take out the engine regardless of what ur gonna do. gg

Just rebuild it, chances are you will just have to replace the irons. Just measure all of them to make sure they are within spec, or take it to a shop and have it rebuilt professionaly.. And get a street port while its apart, you won't regret it. :-)

how long did it overheat for? if not too long, just rebuild it.
