Scoot Fd hood in a FC hood?

Should i integrate a Scoot Fd hood in to a FC hood?? I just happen to have an extra CF scoot hood laying around and was thinking perhpas this would be a nice mod.

opinoins?

i saw amemiya's N1 hood vents put in to a fc and they looked pretty good. perhpas this might be a cool hood design, the only thing is that the scoothood is very curvy and it might not match with the straight lines with a FC.

anybody got a photochopped pic of this?

I didn't realy want to cut up my stock aluminum hood to tell you the truth as its so light but... big *** vents are big *** vents hehe

On another note, I already made a functinal CF roof scoop for my car (I dont got any A/C and my roof is already totally FKed anyways so i figured why not haha, I just gotta figure out how to make the interior vents so that i can close them off to water and at the same time direct them towards the driver and passenger). anyone got any pics or ideas of how to do this?

P.S. Is the stock aluminum hood suppose to be so light as when you drop it to close it, it does not close becuase its so light? i hvae to push down on my hood and it kinda bends in because its so thin and then locks close and then pops back out. is this normal?

My aluminum hood will close by itself when dropped, but I always close it by hand. I set it down and it locks right in with light pressure.

Oh, and the hood... sell the scoot hood and buy a something nice with the proceeds.

if the hood hinge gets old and fucked up, it'll be harder to shut.

yeah sell the scoot, it wouldn't match with an FC well. but i think the same style vents with some different curves would look good, maybe...
