Saved some money fixing the FTP myself
OK so today i poked at my passenger side FTP lens and it was loose. So I pull it out, turns off the plastic where the bolt/screws were molded in is all cracked to where the screws have fallen off. So a replacement is 80 bucks each. Well, what i did was, with what little hole i have left, i drilled it (using a bit only 1/32'' bigger than the hole) and took the bolt, chucked it in a drill, held a lighter up to it and then once hot, spun it while pushing it into the hole. once it cooled back down and was hardened, I went out and bought an epoxy made for reparing and bonding plastics/metals, and just covered the area. So it's a good fix for a small problem, and the best part is ya get 80 bucks to put into something else in the car. Anyway that's about it. maybe I'll post pics if there's any requist for them. cya
