Saved Another 7!

Hey all. Settled into the new house and was out looking for a new family car last night. The wife and I had our eyes set on either a Mazdaspeed Protege or a Subaru WRX. The local Mazda Stealership had none in stock. The WRX was sweet. Jokingly, I told Tracy that there was a MINT 7 for sale at the dealership across the street. They were asking $8,000 and I told her I could get it for $5,000. Quickly doing the math in her head she decided that a $5000 car is a much better deal than a $30,000 car that I would have no idea how to work on. We went over and checked it out. BEAUTIFUL! One owner, 80k miles, interior was pristine. She liked it. We test drove it. Solid. Now having to deal with the salesman—his second day on the job. I offered $4500 and told him to go to his boss. All said and done, I got it, tax, tag and title for $5000 and I even witnessed the compression test I requested. 85-85-85 both rotors!

I'm so glad to have another 7, especially after that last abortion of a TII! (THANK YOU HAILERS WITH ALL OF YOUR HELP ON THAT PUPPY)

Here's a link to the pix.
