Satellite radio antenna placement...

Just wondering where you guys put yours? I was thinking about putting mine on the outside...at the top of the hatch. But I was thinking when the sunroof was open it would block the antenna.

Its one of those small XM antennas.

haha, dang, that's where i put mine, just behind the sunroof. never really thought about the roof blocking it. mine is slow to operate because i haven't greased it....so it's never open anymore. hmmm.

my brother put some double sided tape on his a set it up on the dash pad, as far forward and to the left as possible. the window won't block any of the signal.

I've been placing my XM antenna on the inside next to the front window. There's a metal strip there so the magnetic antenna base will stick without sliding around.

That's where mine is. I ran the cable all the way down and to the side by the speakers in the back, then under the bin carpet and then through the kickpad on the passenger side, all the way up to the front. The sunroof doesn't bother it at all and the hatch works fine without messing it up.
