Safe to Jumper From The Battery?

I have a part (blower motor) outside my car that I need to jumper to see if it works. Would it be safe to do it straight from the battery?

he only needs to replace the fuse.. that is what the fuse is there for.. if the fuse poped that means there is no more 12+ power going to that certain source.. so there for the fuse saved him
