SAFC Setting erased

So my car is acting funny. I have a few ideas, but I also want to check to make sure my SAFC settings are still the same. If i had the battery disconnected for a little while (10mins) could my settings be reset? Where can I find some good settings for an S5 T2 with turbo back exhaust and 10psi.

Disconnecting power to the safc should not erase the settings. I bought a used SAFC2, have no idea how long it was unpowered but it still had the last users settings in it.

Alright, well I just checked it and it was set as a 6 cylinder on the hot-wire sensor type. It's supposed to be 4 cylinder with a flap sensor type correct? I don't think it has been reset though. Although, all the hi throttle point and lo throttle point settings are at a flat 5% increase. Anybody have a better set of values I can steal? Or is this ok?

Yeah, I believe 4 cyl and flap sensor is right. You should double check the SAFC manual and wiring instructions to be sure though.

I don't have any settings you can use as mine are all messed up at the moment. And my settings would only make your car run bad! haha

yes, thats correct it should be in 4 cylinder flap sensor and for the setting i don't know what you mean but if you mean settings of tuning i think you should get a wideband, my safc is set at 10.8 afr. runs damn good. my mods are:

1-safc2
2-walbro 255lph fp
3-rb turbo back
4-running 11 psi

YES THE AFC-1 WILL ERASE if you disconnect the battery. Just write down the settings on a peice of paper.
