i made a piece to fit in place of my center vents and logicon and relocated the logicon to the glovebox along with the gloves and napkins hehe but its in my 89 convertable and the AVC-R is on top with the S-AFC on the bottom with them slightly facing towards the driver seat. i also have an extra piece of velvet that velcro's onto the front when my car is parked. its in excellent line of site and easy to change settings or reset your max readings.

PS. ignore the dust, man i didnt know just how dusty it was till i took these pics and it was about a month ago and cleaned sence then lol

I put mine in the ashtray - but decided to make it a bit nicer looking. I made a metal frame and covered it with a suede-like material. It looks really nice and suits the car.

Too bad I haven't had time to wire it up yet...

LOL

I cover it up so that people don't think I just put it there to look cool! But, now it's away for the winter, it's neither show nor go at this point!

added that one to my favorites, but does my SAFC2 have the same dimensions to fit in the ash tray? i think it is a little bit bigger... well i should worry more about getting the damn car running first anyways.

You have to do a little trimming to fit in the ashtray. It wont affect the ashtray going back it if you ever uninstall it. Trim a little of the tabs on the stereo surround.

well i will have to worry about the space issue, i have a motorized LCD and a dvd/cd player going in the DIN space so hopefully it will still fit. but that whole idea is on the backburner for now.
