SAFC 2 question for s5 tII
ok i just got my safc 2 instlled this weekend and i set it up to the book. i started it up and it ran so i was happy. than i started to notice my eyes burning. the car was running so rich that it was smoking i went though and did the itnital set up again i had the sensor type set on flapper 6in and 6 out. i asked one of my buddies who messes with DSMs and he said to set the flapper to 1in and 1out. i did so and now it runs good. why would it not run corectly on it set on 6in and 6 out.. it this going to hurt my car or what. btw i have a 1989 tII with emissions removed cats cleaned out , cat back exaust, electric fan, 3" TID, rewired fuel pump, soon to have installed walbro (thgis weekend) and thats about it... any ideas?

well..... obviously its richening up the fuel.... if you have it set at flap type sensor, 6in 6out, 4 cylinder with arrow pointing diagonally up to the right.. the settings should be goor an an S5......
Recheck all your wiring.. something may not be right (did you wire from the right diagram in the SAFC instructions????????)
