S5s FMIC Question - Damage to IC?

Hey guys, not sure if specifying S5 here or not would matter (for bumper design) but how many of you guys have had to repair your FMIC due to damage from **** hitting your intercooler?

I'm going to be doing a Turbo II swap in the summer, and one of my biggest questions as to just stay with a TMIC and keep my HP low, or go "all out" and get a FMIC (+ mods)

I recently took my radiator out doing some engine work... and geesh! I would not want that **** hitting my intercooler. I don't know how much stronger an intercooler is vs a radiator though.

Also a concern.... flow.

For those in the 300-325 RWHP range.. did you have to cut your bumper in any way?
Did you have to upgrade your radiator due to extra heat being released infront of it from the intercooler?

Thanks, sorry for so many Q's in one thread. I have searched for the damage to IC question, and the question about the bumper being cut... I have yet to search because it just popped into my mind...

Thanks,
Jon
