S5 wont start please help
ok so here's what i have tested/done so far...
first off i was told the motor was bad, tested the compression...there is 3 lbs difference between rotor 1 and rotor 2, both well above minimum spec...checked the plugs, all of them were fouled, and they were reversed (leading and trailing) got new ones, good solid spark, reinstalled them, car fired, ran (all be it rough it did run) for about 10 minutes, then i turned it off, and haven't been able to restart it since...i thought the problem was the injectors, because it was just dumping raw fuel out of the header while i was cranking it...upon inspection, i confirmed that because 2 of them were hung wide open...replaced the injectors, and the lower fuel rail (it was leaking as well) and since i had it apart i replaced all the vacuum lines, and fuel lines (figured it couldnt hurt) reconnected everything, and tried to start it...it cranks, picks up speed while cranking like it wants to start, but the most it will do is occasionally backfire...so now im stuck...its not leaving the fuel puddle anymore, and it doesn't smell nearly as rich as it did...so anyone had anything like this happen/anyone have any ideas?

Check your plugs again. If they get fouled bad enough it can destroy the plug. Is there still a bunch of fuel in the housing? Get rid of it. Also, double check the timing off the crank pulley.
