S5 Turbo Wastegate Exhaust mani?

Is there any use in porting the s5 wastegate? I can't bend the flap back to get a dremel in there. Should the turbo be taken apart to do this? I don't want metal inside the turbo, and what about exhaust manifold porting?

There's definitly some gains to porting the S5 wastegate, but is it necessary? Maybe. Are you experiencing lag?

The turbo should be taken apart for sure. Yes, you can port the manifold and turbo, but the gains will not be very large, and the thinner manifold will be more prone to cracking.
