I "m doing (trying) a n/a to T11 swap in my 88 gtu. I just bought an s4 t11 for $700. The problem is the exhaust manifold is gone. I have a friend with an s5 t11 that I can squander parts from. My question is what is interchangeable ? Can I use complete turbo off s5? I did try to research this , so sorry if it's a lame line, but thanks for your input. Corbit

 

you can put the whole S5 turbo, exhaust manifold, and turbo oil lines on. you need all 3 to make it fit. the S5 turbo is better too.

What makes the s5 better, more boost?

 

the S5's do run more boost but it has nothing to do with the turbo itself.

it'll spool faster and have less boost creep.
