S5 Turbo II VS 2001 Hyundai Accent
I've been in a little argument with a guy about whos car would win between a S5 Turbo II and a 2001 Accent 1.6L with an intake on it.. pretty sure the TII would hand him his rear end, just wanna know if anyone has any experience with these things, and just for the record, i dont have my car yet...but im aiming for a series 5 TII or a third gen
im talking about drag strip / quarter mile (yes, i know this is out of both cars realm of competition are far as optimal environment, but i just want to see how many people think their is an actual competition between these two cars)

well, lets put it this way
last time i went to the track, a 2001 Accent ran, and got a 19.4 1/4 mile time, stock S5 TII's can run high 14's stock, so there is absolutely no competition whatsoever

heh personally i thought without a doubt it would beat his car, but he insisted that im one of those people that "thinks the car i want is the best in the world" he needs to take a look in the mirror... 110HP at the flywheel stock, plus probably 20 or so for his air filter, and he kicked his muffler off....he was BSing today that he had 250HP, thing is, he -used- to be one of my friends, until he started running his mouth saying i didnt know anything about racing, etc etc, so i know exactly whats under the hood of his car, and he was BSing that rx-7's were slow... etc etc, and that his accent would take it to school without a problem, and that he wanted to be the first one to get a kill on me, etc etc... if any of you boys are near alabama and wanna kill a cocky guy in an accent, id be happy to direct you his way, i want to take him out, but one rex killing him is as good as another
