S5 TPS Adjustment Question

Alright i wanna adjust the tps on my car. I looked at the fc3s how to do tps adjustment site already. I just have one question. My tps has 6 wires going into it. Do i still put the probe in the green and black wires on the back of the plug? And do i warm up the car and then unplug it from the harness then set it to 1k ohms resistence?

Its the plug that goes from the sensor to the wire harness to the car

Also:

I have a multimeter but it only has resistances in increments of 2. so i can only set it to 2k Ohms. Anyone know what the numbers would be for that? Or do i have to get another multimeter?

The normal range is from 0 to 5kohm.
Sometimes it'll go up to 6kohm.
Use the range that is appropriate for those numbers.
Remember 5kohm is 5,000 ohms; 6kohm is 6,000 ohms.

Remember to do a slow, gradual full range sweep of the TPS as well to check for any dead spots.
