I'm frankensteining a S5 TII UIM and intercooler onto a S4 TII engine using the S4 throttle body. The S4 hose sort of fits but not ideally, and it might not fit at all with the intercooler in place. I've noticed from photos that the S5 hose is totally different from the S4 one but haven't been able to find a photo or diagram in the FSM that really shows how it looks when installed.

If someone also has a photo of the upper coolant nipple on an S5 TII throttle body I'd love to see that, too. I suspect they're different between series.

i don't see it on that specific hose, but Mazda puts a little white dot on the hoses and it always goes up

 

Yeah, kind of funny that I either wore this one away or that it's hidden by the clamp.

 

Turns out the hose I saw a photo of was a rear iron to lower TB nipple hose incorrectly labeled by an ebay seller. I don't know why I didn't go check Mazdatrix or Atkins first.
