are S5 TII and S4 TII Throttle bodies the "same"?

I know that the TPS's are different,so that being said,Question.
Can you put a S4TII TPS on an S5 TII Throttle body to make it run as an S4 TII TB>??
I may have bitten off more than I can chew doing the FD upper,I have a hesitation problem on the throttle body and it is keeping me IN the garage.
So I want to get Parts to go back to stock and find out IF I am right about the "lag" problem on the FD Throttle body.Cheers STYX.

I know the s4 T2 and FD TB's pretty well, but the s5 T2 not so much because they're just so rare.

You need more details of your setup... I am guessing you put an FD UIM on an s4 T2. If you have an FD UIM you should run the FD TPS and TB.
Just hook the narrow range signal from the FD TPS into the signal voltage wire on the harness.

And please be patient when you post your threads.

ARGHX.always there man,.,.I appreciate it..
The car is Perplexing.I tell ya,,real bad,,and Since I can't get the FD upper/TPS/Thottle body Etc to Work on it I would like to just go back to Basics..But I Sold my S4 TII Throttle body, and that is a problem!
so I can get an S5 TII thottle body,But I know the TPS is a "dual Tps"configuration:.I just needed to know if the S4 TPS will fit on the S5 Throttle body, and That way I can use it as an S4 Throttle body on the S4 UPPER..
Now.Right now with the FD TPS I have it correctly wired.I tried another FD tps on it and That helped.,I think the old one was No Good.
I still get Good idle, but go and step on the gas,Or Even TOUCH the gas,and it wants to Die,but I can Feather it and get through that stage,,
So,,Long story Short,.,I will Vacuum/Pressure test the System,,(I hope that Damn tester Comes in from Fighters Garage.).That will tell me if I have a vacuum leak,,Which It is what alot of other guys Suggest the problem is..
I will post the results,,..HEY,If I can get any good info off of this build,it is definitely getting Posted so others can "enjoy the Reading".Cheers STYX.

If your narrow range TPS voltage (actually going to the ECU) is around 1 volt with the throttle closed and over 4 volts WOT, it's not a TPS issue.
