S5 TII rebuild question
i might be picking up a S5 TII with a blown apex seal (supposedly)
the engine was rebuilt by i believe a guy name Kevin down at rotary resurrection about a year ago (not sure). but the guy im buying it from claims that hes not getting compression out of the rear apex seal.
that being said, IF indeed its just the apex seal that's blown, obviously id have to replace that.
ive also found an S5 O ring kit.
so is this all i need basicly? Plus what ever misc. broken parts i find when tearing it apart?
thanks guys!

nope, if the rear rotor compression is bad,
you need OEM mazda full seal kits. Your picture doesn't have apexseals at all, let alone cornerseals and springs etc...
if one of the rear apex seal is culprit,(two bad compression) there are good chance you would need to replace rotor housing(peripheral housing), Rotor, and possibly end plate(side plate).
in other words, take apart and examine.
good luck.
