S5 TII engine rotors identification

How can i make sure the rotors I have are S5 TII rotors? I got them from a friend that claims they are.. I just wanna make sure for my TII conversion in my 1st gen.. Thanks

Will post some pics in a hr or so.. The S5 TII and S5 N/A rotor weight the same.. Will weight this set and post results also

the theres a diff between the rotor recess
thats why u need GOOD pics, and sharp ppl like ice mark or kevin landers or ddub or nzconverible will be able to tell you

Another way to tell is one is machined, the other is cast. if you look at the recess, the one with the spots (casting marks) is s4, if it has vertical lines instead of the ruff surface, its s5


also, s5 weighs less by about a pound afaik

I thought that he meant between s4/s5, didn't realize that he wanted to know the difference between na and tii for same series... lol, I realize that now.

I put the rotors on a scale and got 10lbs 2.8 oz on one.. and 10 lbs 4.8 oz on the other.. Wil clean them real good and weight again

Those sound like S4's...unless you have TONS of oil in them.

I think i found the only differance between S4 TII and S4 N/A rotors. I just measured the width of the chamfer and the TII is much narrower.. THe N/A one is wider..
