S5 Tail Lights?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knew where I could get the S5 tail lights from, any place online that sells used auto parts? Or maybe some of you have them for sale? I tryed the Classified on this site, but can't find 'em here. Anyone know where else I can get them from?

I want to put them on my S4.

Go to ebay under ( Car parts rx7 tail lights ) many are listed. Right now there is a buy now for $179.99 for S5 lights.

^I've seen them cheaper than that on ebay. To install the s5 lights you will need to fold a bit of the body inward, behind the stock lights near the licence plate holder. You may need a new licence plate holder as well. I think fc3spro (RETed) has a writeup on the whole thing on his site.

What tools will I need? I've read the write-up that was linked in the FAQ on these forums.

I checked eBay and saw a couple, are there any other sites that might have them? I'm trying to get them for the cheapest I can.

ebay is probly going to be the cheapest. Mazdatrix has brand new ones but they're like $350 for each side as far as tools you'll just need regular hand tools, a rachet and maybe a wrench or two. And a saws all or a hammer to cut/bend those little pieces

Oh and one more thing, when I buy the tail lights, will I need anything besides the tail lights to get them on my S4? Like, besides the bending and the license plate bracket, which is not needed from what I've been told, like the bolts and the mounts, are they like the same as the S4?

yes, the only mod you'll need to do is that body portion.

Don't underestimate the local wrecking yard. I recently bought a set of mint S5 lights for $75. Sold one one eBay for $100 and used one to replace a damaged light on my car. So I actually made money.

That's actually not true.

If you keep the S4 license plate bracket, you'll need to dremel the edges down quite a bit.

Also, on the S4 harness (the bulbs), the tabs do not match up on 1 or 2 lights per side. They need to be dremel'd down also.

Wow my last post in this thread got deleted.

The s5 taillights are a very easy item to find and as opposed to the cost of other mods it is a relatively inexpensive item.

some 88s have the slots already cut though, so thats something to check for for the S5 taillights, and i kept my lisence plate bracket, everything works, but it does look kinda goofy if you get close enough to see where the tail lights stick out a bit up top.

Mint condition? Your tail lights have never passed through a mint...
