This thread is breeding fail... There was so much good info and so much bad info, how is ANYONE supposed to weed through the crapfest and actually learn something...

I like how one poster starts by saying it is PNP with swapping a harness... I mean that is redamndiculous... Then later on starts backtracking and trying to prove how he isnt a moron.

The JDM "UNCUT Wiring Harness" is for a RHD car. On the RHD cars the emissions harness enters the firewall on the left side of the car. Unless you completely take it apart (extend/shorten where neccessary) this harness will not work in a USDM RX7. It's good to have it for the terminals, in the last few days I finally cut all of the connectors off of my JDM wiring harness and put them in a box for spares.

You also have that an S5 ecu was included. Is it an N370 (US model) or an N374 (jdm version)? If it is an N374 then there is a good possibility that it will not work in your USDM car.

I still say that if you keep what you have then you need to buy an S4 TII: ECU, emissions harness, AFM, BAC, Pressure Sensor, etc.

You should also source a TII differential, half shafts, and drive shaft.

Hindsight being 20/20:
I would have cleaned my engine bay while it was empty.
I would have replaced my suspension bushings at the same time, would have saved the trouble of removing the exhaust and having it reinstalled.
I would have seriously considered undercoating my car as well.

Where in KY are you located?

And the plug from the front harness that normally plugs directly into the ECU? Well now it won't fit because the plug shape is wrong. An S5 plug will have to be sourced, and all the wires will have to be spliced into it. .
anyone have a link on how to rearrange the wires for it to work?

If you were using a aftermarket ecu(microtech lt10s) instead of Oem ecu and harness would it work just putting in the s5 TII in the s4 body?

The FC wiring manuals are absolute gold. They are not only exhaustive in the info they contain but hell they are mostly in color too! I use my wiring manuals more than my FSMs.
