s5 t2 BLOCK OFF plate question+LIMP mode?

My setup will work with s5 t2 ecu & harness and all s5 t2 manifolds manifolds. I want to block off all emissions on my build, removing the rats nest and just running vacuum to the fuel rail, also blocking the OMP and blocking off the oil injector holes on the housing, keepin it simple. Running idemitsu premix. The main question is if you leaved those parts unplugged[because its blocked off]from the wiring harness will it cause the t2 ecu to run LIMP mode? [like when the ecu wont let the motor rev over 3800k] Has anyone tried this with stock ecu?

i think you can just leave the omp plugged in and hide it somewhere in the engine bay

I haven't tried this but why can't you just find the resistance for the omp and then wire in a resister.

The OMP might be bad, try swapping it out for a known good unit.

it worked just fine a couple months ago.

here's the background story:

I went to a new radiator/intercooler setup for a vmount type setup. In the process, I switched out my s5 water pump housing for an s4 water pump housing to have the filler neck up on top rather than on the radiator. The s5 OMP will bolt up to the s4 water pump housing but the plastic end cap (on the OMP) makes contact with the water outlet pipe (on the bottom side of the water pump housing). So I removed it and tied it away with the connectors still hooked up. Once the car was up and running I can only drive it for about 1/4 mile before it goes into limp mode. Still think its the OMP?...considering it worked just fine before I removed it. I would hate to have to buy a working OMP only to NOT use it. I will be getting a stand alone in a while but I need this to work NOW.
