i went to my car today and it randomly wouldnt start. it has never done this before and i cant figure out why it is now. it has to be a spark or a fuel delivery problem, because itll turn over, but it wont fire at all.
also i need to find a good shop in san diego. its been too long since my baby has been serviced and i want to get a tune uyp. if you can help at all please do.

is it flooded? I know they seem to flood pretty easy. Take the leading plugs out of the block, pull the fuse for ingnition, and the fuse for the fuel pump...crank it over a couple times, and try that. If that doesn't work...take the plugs out one by one, put the ignition wire up to them and hold them about 1/2 inch from the manifold...look for spark while someone cranks it over. That should be able to rule out the two issues. That's the easiest way with out diagnostic equip.

actually the S5 has a fuel pump shut off when you hold the gas to the floor while cranking. Try that first.
