If you just use the s4 core and switch EVERYTHING else over, you should be fine.... I think that includes the front Cover as well because of the OMP, I know that if you don't use the s5 electric OMP on an S5 ECU, it will put the ECU into limp mode and that sucks ***. You'll need to keep the s4 flywheel on the motor cause the rotors are different weights.

If the car is an N/A the 6-ports are also controlled by the ECU on the s5, (which is better) so you'll need the s5 vac rack and wiring harness for that. also the air pump because its what powers the 6-ports.

The s4 has lower compression that the S5.... I'm not sure how that will effect the Fuel Control... I would think the O2 sensor should compensate when on the highway, but under FWO the ECU runs off of closed loop maps.... could make a difference.

PM RETed and see what he thinks about the internals of the s4 running on S5 intake and electronics
