Exclamation S5 to S4 Fuel Pump Swap

I just got threw putting in my walbro fuel pump in a S5 turbo fuel pump assembly to drop down in my S4 N/A. And it won't fit. Are the S5 turbo gas tanks bigger or something cause the assembly is about a inch longer than the stock and it feels like its bottoming out.

Post a pic of what you're actually trying to retrofit. If you are swapping in the pump all you need is the cylinder thing, then fit the rest into the s4 fuel pump hardware. I have fit a Walbro 255, an FD pump, and a Supra pump before. The Supra pump has a very tight fit but it works.

Don't use the whole assemply, just the actual pump. Takes all of 5 mins to swap them out and worked fine with both of my pumps i have gone though.

I just got threw with it. I took the walbro off the S5 and put it on the S4 and it fits and works. I guess I should of measured the assebleys before taking on this project, my stupidity. That walbro flows like a son of a biatch though!

Well I had a S5 turbo assembly that came with my engine that looked brand new and my stock assembly was white and corroded. But I cleaned it off and made it usable. It's all good
