S5 to S4

I currently have a 1990 GTU that is complete and running. The only problem is that it doesnt have a title. The previous owner runs a body shop so I'm assuming someone didnt have the money to fix it so they just left it and then he sold it to me. Here (Kentucky) it's basically impossible to get a new title unless I can somehow get in touch with the previous owner with the title, which is highly unlikely.

I also have a 1987 rx7 with no motor that has a title. So I want to swap the engine, 5lug etc etc, over to the 87. How big of a problem would this be seeing as I have the complete running 90 not just the engine? Are the wiring harnesses completely different or will the S4 harness work with the S5 ecu?

Sorry if this has been covered before but I tried searching and got a proxy error.

Thanks

I would think Kentucky's DMV must have a way of retitling the vehicle.
Have you gone down there and asked them?
I think finding a way to title the GTU would be WAY easier than moving all that stuff from one car to the other.

ive done a s5 to s4 swap......... it was a pain in the ***....... every wire had to be swapped, from the front to the rear......... i did a s5 na to s4 t2....so i had to swap engine, tranny, rear end....ect.... so it may be alot easier for you since you can keep all the na stuff on the car!! good luck ....if you have any questions, just pm me!!
